It is the policy of the Y-12 National Security Complex to
promote implementation of the elimination or reduction of waste
generation. In keeping with this policy statement, the Y-12
Pollution Solutions Awards were developed to recognize Y-12
employees, teams, and organizations who demonstrate a commitment
to reducing pollution. Based on the required criteria for
pollution prevention, the following projects/activities from
fiscal year (FY) 2006 have been selected to receive the Y-12
Pollution Solutions Awards. These were selected from the FY 2006
completed projects that are reported and tracked through the
Y-12 Pollution Prevention Program.
